10kW Hybrid Solar Power System in Bac Ninh

NETPOWER GREEN ENERGY CO., LTD has recently completed and handed over a hybrid solar power project with a total capacity of 10.36 kWp for a household in Luong Tai District, Bac Ninh Province. This system combines solar power generation with energy storage, delivering continuous and reliable power to the home.

Site Conditions & Requirements

The installation site is a residential house in Luong Tai, Bac Ninh. The rooftop area consists of a concrete slab combined with an adjacent corrugated metal roof, surrounded by dense neighboring residential structures and an elevated domestic water tank.

The family required electricity for daily living and desired a stable backup power source to maintain essential appliances even during grid outages. Therefore, building a system equipped with dedicated energy storage was the optimal choice.

Solution & Hybrid Solar Equipment

After calculating the available area and the property's load demands, we proposed a hybrid setup comprising the following primary equipment:

  • Photovoltaic panels: 16 Jinko Solar 635Wp solar panels (635 Wp per panel, bringing the total array capacity to approximately 10.16 kWp).

  • Hybrid grid-tied inverter: 01 unit of 10kW single-phase hybrid inverter from Solax (10 kW capacity, single-phase).

  • Battery storage system: 01 HOA HUY HHLT1623JK 16kWh Lithium battery unit (total storage capacity of 16 kWh).

To eliminate shading from the water tank and utilize the space beneath, we installed a sturdy elevated steel frame structure on the roof slab, while also arranging panels evenly along the slope of the adjacent metal roof to optimize sunlight capture.

Installation Process

The project was carried out and completed by NETPOWER's technical team within 2 days. The installation steps were executed sequentially and precisely:

First, the team fabricated and installed the load-bearing steel structure, securing the foundation footings firmly to endure strong winds and storms. Next, specialized aluminum rails and solar panel clamps were aligned evenly.

The 16 Jinko Solar 635Wp panels were safely hoisted to the roof and secured to the mounting system according to the engineering wiring diagram. DC cables were routed through specialized protective conduits and neatly arranged beneath the panels to ensure weather resistance and durability.

After securing the entire PV array, we wired the system to the 10kW single-phase Solax hybrid inverter and the 16kWh HOA HUY Lithium battery bank, conducting electrical voltage measurements and parameter checks prior to commissioning.

Results

The project was accepted and commissioned on October 8, 2026. The entire 10.36 kWp system operates synchronously and stably. During daylight hours, the solar panels provide power directly to home appliances and fully recharge the 16kWh HOA HUY battery bank. During grid failures, the Solax inverter automatically switches to deliver continuous power from the battery storage to critical loads.
